Vavasorology.com is one of a number of forums devoted to the study of the life and work of Archimedes and Pythagoras Vavasor. Actually, it's mainly about the study of their life, or to be even more precise, their deaths. The generally accepted term for people who frequent these forums is Vavasorologist, although they are often referred to as simply Vavvies. Depending on who is using the term, this can be construed as either an affectionate nickname or an insult.

The Forum

The forum is divided up into a number of sections, of which the most frequently viewed are as follows:

  • FAQ - this contains important information for newbies about topics that should not be raised, including the notorious myth that Archimedes had hung himself using a piece of rope 3.14159 feet long, the exact coloration of the Vavasors' cat µ and what bus you need to catch out of Cambridge to reach Little Wilbraham.
  • Theories - this is in many ways the heart of the mad world of Vavasorology, where the hardcore denizens get to work. This part of the forum is divided up into a number of sub-forums, covering such subjects as:
    • Time travel
    • Aliens
    • The global military-industrial complex
    • Espionage
    • Mind control
    • The Rapture
  • Sightings - this is where forum members report anything Vavasor-related they may have seen. This mostly involves cats.
  • Books - new works on Vavasorology are discussed here.
  • Off topic - honestly, anything goes here. Stay well clear.
