Dagenham Rules, Henderson’s Variation

is now published. I’m not 100% sure what it’s about, but I think it has something to do with competitive relationships, trust, emasculation and The Games People Play. But maybe not.

In other news, Mrs Darcy now has her own page on the Salt website. And that is one deeply scary picture of the author, is it not?

  1. Well done, Jonathan. It’s an intriguing story and the ‘game’ part reminds me of “Mornington Crescent” from the Radio 4 show I’m Sorry I Haven’t a Clue. You probably didn’t intend that, but it’s no bad thing.

I like the look of Microliterature. I’ll have to give it a shot one of these days once I’ve got something suitable to send their way.

It’s definitely a big author photo. No doubt about that.

  2. Thanks! Funny thing is, I was listening to ISIHAC last night and it occurred to me that there were elements of Mornington Crescent in the story. Someone else suggested Numberwang as a possible influence and I can see that as well 🙂
